family.

Mother - Melissa (b. 1950)
Father - Jackson (b. 1949)
Brother - Lucian (b. 1977)

Parker isn't that close to his family though out of them he is probably closest to his mother who he is the most like out of his family. While he gets on with his other family members even if he isn't that close to them. No matter what he is family to them and he will support and stand by them, even if he can but heads with them - his brother the most of all.

history.

Early History: Born Jan 29 1982, Parker is the youngest and second son and child born to Melissa and Jackson, with his brother Lucian being four years older than him. From an early age, Parker was a quiet child, the opposite of his brother Lucian who seemed to be always getting into mischief. Parker though, he was content to sit quietly and play with his toys, book or whatever his parents hand given him to occupy his time with. It was soon obvious that he had a keen mind and enjoyed learning things, especially things that would help him.

When he was three, his brother, who was bored at the time taught him how to properly use his knowledge to manipulate his parents in a way only a three year old could - refining his temper tantrums to the point where they worked no matter what the situation was. In time though, Parker managed to learn other wise of controlling his parents that were much more refined than the yelling and screaming of the past.

The one area, he found he connect well with his brother on was in Quidditch. The two of them were natural fliers, and very much enjoyed playing against each other or with some other local children if they could be convinced. Unlike Lucian who preferred the beater position, Parker found he was better and happier playing as a Chaser. In time they developed a game where, Lucian would try and knock Parker off or at least hit him while he tried to get the Quaffle through a small opening between two tree's. It was fun and a good way to pass the time when they weren't doing other things.

Parker's parents insisted on him taking various lessons for a couple of years before he started to attend Hogwarts. They weren't rather in depth but mainly focused on things he would need before he started school such as the basics of magic, how things worked etc along with the typical lessons of reading, writing and mathematics. While the family might not be a powerful or that old, it would have been disastrous if he couldn't actually learn after all.

Starting Hogwarts in 1993, Parker, like the rest of his family was sorted into Slytherin. A lot of people at first assumed he would be like his brother but it didn't take long to show he wasn't like Lucian in a lot of ways. At Hogwarts he quickly gained a reputation of someone who wouldn't misbehave but followed the rules to the T - just as long as it suited him and he knew he wouldn't be caught breaking them.

Apart from a few incidents over the first couple of years at Hogwarts that didn't involve him - more the whole school or rumours such as the Tri-Wizard tournament in his second year, his years went relatively quickly and quietly. He did quite well at his school work, not wanting to be seen as a failure but also because he genuinely did like learning, which wouldn't be a surprise that the hat considered him for Ravenclaw, his ambition winning out in the end when it came to the sorting hat's decision.

During his fifth year at Hogwarts, he tried out for the Quidditch team and was made Chaser on it, after two previous ones had graduated the year before. While some people wondered why he joined it during his OWL year, Parker new he could manage it and found it a good way to relax. It was also during this year that the school changed and while he did like the changes he also knew it was best to join the Inquisitorial Squad as a way to avoid attention being thrown on him. While he was a Purist, he truthfully didn't like the way that the Dark Lord was handling the war and wanted to stay out of it. By joining the IS though he managed to go about his life in a way that he wanted tow ithout getting into trouble for it.

Come the Battle of Hogwarts, Parker had no idea what to do. Truthfully he didn't want to participate in it and in the end he decided to stay in Hogsmeade and look after hte younger years with a handful of other students. In the end this was probably a smart decision as it means he wasn't in that much trouble after the war as well as the fact he had only joined to keep his head clean during the previous year.

The War: Neutral-Death Eater. While Parker isn't the biggest fan of Muggleborns and the like, he much prefers the idea of change through politics rather than violence. Therefore he didn't participate in the battle but instead looked after the younger years, making sure they were safe during the battle.

personality.

First Impression: Quiet, distant, shy and a bit of a book worm
Personality: Parker is in some ways very easy to over look by people who don't know him well. Incredibly quiet, he likes to observe, listen and learn rather than participate. Of course that doesn't mean he won't, he's just very much an introvert when it comes to his personality. Often one to have a book about him, he likes to keep a small number of close friends around him but otherwise doesn't much care for to many people, when it comes down to it. That doesn't mean he'll ignore people or be cruel - he actually can be quite polite and poised.

Parker, in someways can be your silent enemy, the one you never see until it is too late. While he tries to be polite to a lot of people he can hold grudges for a long time, even if he tries not to. Sometimes, someone might just do something that he disagrees with so much or if he is badly hurt he won't forgive or forget. Perhaps this isn't the best way to go about things, but in the long term he realises if he has been hurt once by someone he can be hurt again and he doesn't like that. It makes him seem weak and he hates that, he hates appearing weak to other people.

Quite intelligent, he can pick up on things quite quickly which he tries to use to his advantage. It isn't even just school related stuff but things to do with people as well. Like above, it is said he likes to observe people rather than participate and by doing this he manages to pick up a lot about them that he might otherwise not be able to do. He only tries to use this information when he absolutely has to though, mostly because he doesn't want to use information against a person then to realise there had been no need to do so. To him it is better to be cautious when it comes to these dealings with people than ruin them and perhaps ruin all chance he has of succeeding in the future. Plus if he mucks up, it might stop him from using information completely against people in the future, something he would hate.

Parker is stubborn and hates backing down from things, even if he enjoys a good "discussion" but only when he knows he will win - or against people who won't use it against him. Really, when it just comes down to it, Parker hates failure of any sort as well as admitting that he is wrong. This is probably one of his biggest if not his biggest failings.

One of the things Parker loves doing is dreaming of the future and he has a habit of dreaming big. At the moment he dreams of going into politics and perhaps becoming the Minister of Magic, actually he would love that even if he knows it would take awhile to get there. Of course this means that Parker will follow rules and do what is expected of him, rarely misbehaving, if at all.

Likes: politics, friends, books, learning, quidditch, rules, doing what is expected of him, watching people
Dislikes: loud people, being forced into doing things, rushing into things and not analysising them properly, failing,

storylines.

1. The person who wants him more involved. I would love it if there was someone - probably another Purist- that gets on his back about not being more involved with the Battle etc.

2. The true friend - Parker doesn't open himself to many people but I would like someone who he trusts implicitly in play. Probably someone with a similar personality but its not necessary!

(Those with returning characters don't need to do these.)

First Person: I admit that despite everything that occurred during and at the end of last year, I am glad to be back at Hogwarts. It has been a part of my life for so long, I just can't imagine not being here. That being said, I can definitely see the changes that have been made to the school - physical and not. Even the mentality of the returning students is noticeably different, not that I blame them. I am interested to see what happens, I know it will take a long time for it to return to normal if it ever does. A part of me thinks it never will but we can try, right? This is about moving forward and looking to the future.

Slytherin 6th years
I do hope all of you are alright.

Third Person: Parker glanced around the Slytherin common room and shook his head slightly, completely ignoring the book that was laying open in his lap. It was so quiet and depressed. Not that Parker blamed them of course, so many of their families had been torn apart during and after the war. Even his own was impacted though not as far as some of the other families. Looking at the returning students from the eight years down he realised that there would be a high chance that every single one of them was impacted personally. That was something he found highly depressing. A part of him wished the war had never occurred but then one could not change the past and hindsight was 20/20. Most of all though, he was glad he had the sense to look after the younger students in Hogsmeade instead of fighting or running.

Shifting slightly in his seat to get feeling back in his left leg which he could feel falling asleep under him, he glanced down at the book and decided it wasn't worth it. He just couldn't concentrate on it at the moment, his thoughts kept drifting to the war. Something he truthfully didn't want to think about even if his thoughts kept going there.

Deciding he might head outside for some fresh air, he closed the book before standing. "Sorry," he said automatically as he nearly banged into a younger student on his way to the dorms to place his book back on his bedside table.
