Happy Wednesday!
I'm taking search offline sometime today to upgrade the server to a new instance type. It should be down for a day or so -- sorry for the inconvenience. If you're curious, the existing search machine is over 10 years old and was starting to accumulate a decade of cruft...!
Also, apparently these older machines cost more than twice what the newer ones cost, on top of being slower. Trying to save a bit of maintenance and cost, and hopefully a Wednesday is okay!
Edited: The other cool thing is that this also means that the search index will be effectively realtime afterwards... no more waiting a few minutes for the indexer to catch new content.

I haven't done a board gaming song in a while, and I was thinking about one I've become familiar with quite a lot on the Friday nights when I go with my mom to meet up with some of our friends to play them together.
I'm gonna use one of my older personas known as "We Make Earworm Bangers!" for this one. XD
(Mood: A real good, fun time while introducing people to a dice and card game that may not be familiar to them. Very catchy and fun earworm of a good time. Genre: Danceable Electro-pop drum and bass hybrid with skittery breakbeat percussion that could mimic the sound of dice being thrown and rolled around!)

hello!
just wanted to promote my new DW commqueerbookclub!
the community is a no pressure book club dedicated to fiction books of all genres that are queer in some way! each month we take suggestions on what the next month's book should be and we vote on it. if you're not interested in the book for the month, that's perfectly fine! you are free to come and go as you please. :)
we plan to start in may and currently book nominations for may are open until april 26th.

I'm still disappointed at the friend who's been a selfish and stupid bratty fair-weather person towards my mom and me. According to her "logic" it's WRONG to be concerned about not having our things stolen by her incompetent and dishonest man child of a son, and for our good rep from the current landlord to be reduced to shit!
Also, my cautious hope of ever visiting Pumpkin, Sam, or Xena--it feels like that got fucking squashed. All my hopes of seeing them and playing their songs, they keep getting diminished, no matter how cautious I get! I've been hating that so much, and it's out of THIS frustration that leads to this next song...

He's part gremlin, part weirdo, and part super affectionate companion all in one. That's what is coming to my mind as I just wanna have him in my character roster at Suno now.
