His hair is a pale blond, almost white and comes down the bottom of his chin as it had to be cut after his brief stint in Azkaban after the war until he was let off. His eyes are a grey colour and have often been described as cold looking which suits his whole personality. He carries a black cane with a silver snake head on it which he carries his wand around in so it is always on him. This cane was originally used for decorative purposes but after the war and his time in Azkaban it is starting to be used as a proper cane though he still makes out it is only a accessory. His clothes are the latest fashion and always look immaculate as he has to have and look the best of the best as that is what he is. The only people he view as better or as close as him to his status are his wife and son. He has also started to occasionally wearing glasses for reading though he likes to pretend that he doesn't need them. Desired PB: Julian Sands or Jason Isaacs Personality: Lucius is considered to be a cold and aloof by many people as he acts as a snobbish pureblood while in public while around people he likes and trusts he is a lot more relaxed even though he still upholds the pureblood standards. He looks down on people who are of lower status of him or muggle-lovers and only accepts other purebloods of high standing for him to socialise with- when he has the choice of course. Lucius is a proper pureblood and only associates with those of similar standing. He often pretends not to be close to his parents as that is proper way to behave. He doesn't have friends but acquaintances to the outside world though he does consider the elder of the Lestrange brother to be a friend along with a few other people he went to school with. He secretly loves his family very much though he appears distant to them. This is because he is afraid of loosing them to his opponents. Due to this love he can anger quickly especially when he doesn't get his own way but he has learnt to control it enough that people do not realise he is angry- the majority of time. Very prejudiced he does not like hearing other people's points of views especially when he knows that they can argue their point and make him look like a fool. Growing up with these expectations he has always believed in them and always will- one does not change their way of think so easily. This prejudice goes hand in hand with his vanity. He takes pride in the way he looks and will never go anywhere without looking the best that he can- every hair in place, his robes perfectly in place without a single crease in them, his robes have to be the latest fashion and all that sort of thing. He refuses to look anything but the best of the best and isn't afraid to spend the money to show this. Lucius is also driven by his ambitions to succeed and become the best that he can be. This mainly relates to things to do with purebloods- he wants to show that Purebloods are the best, he wants to help win the war, he wants his family to be safe, he wants to be a trusted confident of the minister of magic. He wants to show people that he is better than them. His marriage to Narcissa original began as a way to show that he was a worthy Pureblood to marry into the House of Black one of the most notable Pureblood families. Along with this is his ability to lie convincingly. This helps him in that he can get people to what he wants them to do. If he doesn't like something he can make out that he loves it, he can make out that his beliefs are one thing when they aren't though a lot of people believe that they know him they actually don't. Strengths: manipulation, displaying a show of cool headedness, quick tongued, ambitious, determined, affectionate to his family in private, can lie easily Weaknesses: food, wine, family, good expensive clothes, annoys quickly, can anger easily, very insecure with showing affection, arrogant, prideful, wants to succeed no matter the cost, stubborn, cold and aloof in public Special Abilities: Dueling, Dark Arts, Politics, History: Lucius was born on August 13 1954 to Astra and Abraxas Malfoy taking the place of their heir and oldest child. While he was growing up he was trained to be the perfect pureblood heir as well as many spells, curses and hexes. He excelled at the darker spells which he started to learn at the age of seven. Even at such a young age he gave off an air that showed he was proud and proper young man who should not be trifled with. Often described as distant, cold and a perfectionist he was the proper Pureblood heir. He interacted with other Pureblood's who were of the same status of him that were carefully chosen by his parents though he only came to call a couple of them friends. By the time he started school he was well adapted to magic and could perform many of the simple spells up to the end of his third year. He would have liked to have been able to perform more but his parents had decided they didn't want him completely consumed by his studies as a young child. While he was at school he was a top student and bane of many Gryffindor's and Hufflepuff's existence. He excelled at Potions and Charms though he did quite well in all of his subjects. Throughout his early years at Hogwarts he was renowned for his temper if you pissed him off as well as targeting mudbloods. He was a favourite of Professor Slughorn along with the elder Lestrange and a few other members of his year who he hung around with. He received O's in Charms, Potions, Defence and Transfiguration and E's in Ancient Runes, Arithmacy, History of Magic and Herbology when he sat his OWLs. He received the same scores on his NEWTs apart from receiving an E in Transfiguration and an O in Arithmacy and not sitting the NEWT for History of Magic or Herbology. During his years at Hogwarts he remained friends with Rodolphus Lestrange as well as being friendly with Bellatrix Black and a select few others in his house. At the end of his seventh year his parents took him to the new Dark Lord to be marked and he quickly found a place among his followers and quickly advanced to become a member of the inner circle as well as manage to advise the Minister on things that would help to advance their cause. When he had graduated from Hogwarts his father had taken him to the Dark Lord to become one of his servants which Lucius did more than willingly as he had always wanted to join his ranks ever since the rumours of his rise to power had started Over the next years he rose through the ranks of the Death Eaters eventually becoming one of the Dark Lord's most trusted servants. Lucius also started to donate large amounts of money to particular charities to form an image of someone who cared for the Wizarding Community when in actual fact he is just trying to advance him and his family for his own purposes. For this reason he also started to bribe Ministry officials especially Cornelius Fudge who he has become a sort of unofficial advisor for. Not long after graduating from Hogwarts, Narcissa and he announced their engagement and were married two years later. They had met during his second year at Hogwarts and he considered her a friend for many years. From her second year to her fourth year he was quite jealous of all her 'relationships' with other boys but by the time her fourth year came around he realised why she had been doing that. Embarrassed that it had taken him so long to figure it out the two of them began to date and were inseparable from there on in. At first he wouldn't have said that he loved her but he did fall in love with her rather quickly though he would never admit it. After their lavish wedding they moved into Malfoy Manor with his parents though they were in a separate wing to them. Over the next few months they became to trust one another explicitly due to their affection and common goals and interests. Narcissa and he had their first and only child Draco in 1980. The year after when the Dark Lord was vanquished the first time he pleaded Imperious to the Wizengamont and got off scot free. Many people believed him to have paid off the Minister and other high officials to be proven innocent. The next ten or so years he lived as a perfect Pureblood until the Dark Lord came back to life. Then he once again assumed his place as a member of the Inner Circle. During 1995 he was tasked with retrieving the prophecy from the Department of Mysteries and when he failed he was captured and sent to Azkaban. The Dark Lord broke him out a year later and claimed his manor for his headquarters with no thought of how it would affect Lucius and his wife. After the Dark Lord returned to life and took over the Ministry he has continued to serve his Lord faithfully as one of his Inner Circle. He will do anything that his Lord asks him to do willingly- except something that might harm his family in anyway- he will still do it though even if he doesn't want to. He has learnt the hard way not to disobey his Lord and bring his wrath down on him. Except it wasn’t a meeting in the generic sense but to inform them that they were to raid a Muggle town in Yorkshire that night. At that new, Lucius felt his blood boil, he had always found the sight and smell of blood and death to be arousing in a way that was not normal for the majority of people but he didn’t care about that fact. He felt so alive when around it that he would do anything to experience it. “CRUCIO!” he yelled at a near by Muggle causing them to drop to the ground and start to twitch as their nerves were over stimulated. Laughing as he watched them, his smirk turned into a grin as they started to whither about in full blown pain. He loved knowing that he could cause all these people to feel the pain that they deserved to for existing, for defying his Master. Looking at the Muggle, Lucius knew that they were dying so he eased up on the curse just slightly to allow them more time to feel the pain of it. Eventually the Muggle stopped twitching and just laid there and Lucius knew that they were dead, letting out a small laugh that sounded awfully like a cackle to those near by, he searched for his next victim. An hour later they were all dead, just like they were supposed to be and the group of Death Eaters apparated back to the Dark Lord to report a successful mission. All the Muggles were dead and the Order who had turned up were dead too which was an added bonus. Soon enough the Dark Lord would dismiss them and he’d be home to his wife, to celebrate another successful mission.
