SUSAN AMELIA BONES, THE GUIDE A quiet girl who can hold a grudge like none other, especially against the Death Eaters etc. She does believe in goodness though and wants to help people, she hates unnecessary death and will do all she can to prevent it. She enjoys spending time with her friends and is extremely loyal and trustworthy of them. Despite growing up with her Aunt and did see the dark side of the Wizarding World due to her Aunt's job she tends to trust people and think the best of them and because of this she is often blind to people's faults. Even with her trusting personality she hates gossiping and rumours and tries to ignore it as much as possible. She hates seeing people hurt for any reason and will go out of her way to make sure they are comfortable and feeling alright if she sees them upset. While she isn't overly ambitious or intelligent when something comes along that she wants desperately she will work until she achieves it. This is one of the reasons that she is going to the past as she is willing to do anything to avenge her Aunt's, Uncle and her parent's deaths at the hand of Death Eaters when she was still a baby as well as help prevent further deaths in the Wizarding World. Susan really doesn't care what others think of her as long as they don't go out of their way to harm her or even be cruel to others. She is comfortable with who she is and what she looks like. Believing that people should like each other for who they are she doesn't make a big effort to compile with the masses though she will buy the latest fashions occasionally but that is mainly if she likes them- not that she doesn't like clothes in general. If there is one thing that Susan detests with a passion it is the Death Eaters and Voldemort. As she is the only family member not killed by them, she has a deep burning hatred of them. It is the one area in her life where no one can change her mind, she is absolutely convinced that all of them should be locked in Azkaban for life if not given the Dementors kiss. Even the Malfoy's despite their 'change of heart'. history Born on November 13 1979 to Jasmine and Jonathan Bones, Susan is an only child. For the next few months of her life it was a happy time for her family despite the war going on, that all came to ruin in the middle of 1980 when her parents and her Uncle and his wife were killed by the Brotherhood, the only reason she survived was that she was with her Aunt Amelia at the time. After this, Susan was raised by her blood aunt, Amelia Bones who she was named after. The next year passed with Amelia finding whoever she could to look after Susan while she worked as a cashier and then when she applied for a job as an Auror for when she went through all the training. When she was young Amelia doted on Susan and would often spoil her though she taught her not to have a big head about that. Teaching Susan to read at the age of four proved troublesome but she eventually caught on though she didn't became a huge fan of reading she would usually have one book on the go as she grew older. Susan loved her Aunt unconditionally as well as the select handful of friends that she had as a child. She was loyal to a fault to them and when Amelia was teaching her the basics of reading, writing, mathematics etc she was extremely hardworking even though she wouldn't always get it the first time around. This pretty much set her for a place in Hufflepuff when she eventually went to Hogwarts. At Hogwarts she was indeed sorted into Hufflepuff like her Aunt had expected of her and quickly became best friends with Hannah Abbott another girl in her dorm. While she was friendly she was relatively quiet which meant that she didn't have many friends but the ones she did have were extremely close to her. A very mediocre student she averaged A's with a few E's here and there throughout her first four years at Hogwarts. In her fifth year she joined Dumbledore's Army and under Harry's tutelage brought her DADA mark up to an O on her OWL's which she was ecstatic with. During her sixth and seventh years she continued with DADA, Transfiguration, Charms, Muggle Studies, Potions and CoMC. With the death of her Aunt in the summer before her sixth year her world was torn once again. Without any close family to live with she was sent off to a distant cousin of her Aunt's until she became of age which she hated. During her sixth year she started to apprentice to Madame Pompfrey to learn all that she could about healing. She progressed quickly but that was just due to her determination to not to see any unnecessary deaths during the war even though she knew that she wouldn't be able to stop all of them- stop the majority of them for that matter- but she wanted to try and save as many people as possible. With Dumbledore's death at the end of that year she started to question if she was really safe if the Headmaster could be killed like that. Who would protect them now? Her seventh year, with the Dark Lord taking over the Ministry and Hogwarts. That year was hell for her. The Carrow's made her life living hell resulting her joining the newly reformed Dumbledore's Army and in the end she moved into the Room of Requirement a long with Neville and the others. Over the years, she has had a number of crushes on both girls and boys. Her first crush was on her best friend Hannah Abbott though she pretends that it didn't last long, mostly as she knew it would never happen though truthfully she is still in love with her. Other crushes have included Harry Potter - because who didn't crush on the boy who lived and a couple of other boys and girls in her year though she never really admitted them. She did go on one date during her fourth year with a boy from Durmstrung but it turned out he had only wanted in her pants, something that she refused to happen. The war had a big impact on Susan. Even before the second war she had the impacts of the first in her life with the constant remainder of her families pain of being torn apart by the Death Eaters. With the escape of her families killers during her fifth year, her life slowly started to get worse. When her Aunt was killed during the second war, her life was turned upside down again and she was sent to live with some distant cousins of her father's who she didn't really know. After the Battle of Hogwarts, Susan helped with the clean up of Hogwarts and put some of her basic healing skills to use on some of the wounded. After wards when the world was slowly starting to rebuild itself, she applied to train as a Healer and was accepted into St Mungo's. Since then she has devoted herself fully to her training, determined not to allow any more unnecessary deaths, seeing enough of those in the war. She thought that all Death Eaters deserved the worst punishment possible for their actions. She has suffered from some periods of feeling really down or really angry when she thinks of the war. She has also gravitated even more towards her friends to make up for the fact they were for a long time, the only people she has left in her life now. During 2004 when the world had started to settle down, Susan started to look towards the future and realised that while she wouldn't ever date anyone she did want children. Looking into adoption, she finally found a young teenage mum who was pregnant and was looking for someone to adopt her child when she was born. On January 28 2005, this became a reality when the mother gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, not wanting anything to do with it she left the naming to Susan who named the girl Katherine. Katherine to her is one of the most amazing things that have happened to her in a long time and she wouldn't change it for the world. After adopting Katherine she took two years off work to be around her daughter a lot with her so young and since then she has slowly started to go back starting with one day a week and then more and more until she is full time again. Now she can't imagine her life any other way though with the events that have happened recently, she is terrified of what will come and is determined to do all that she can to protect herself, Katherine and her friends. other.
