Fandom: Tank Girl Medium: Movie Canon point: Post-Movie Arrival Date: Acceptance Date PB: Naomi Watts Personality: Jet is normally on the quieter side when it comes to her personality which is mostly due to being held prisoner by the W&P Corporation and trying to survive there. Being held captive there for the past eleven years, Jet has pushed her past so deep into her mind that she can't remember any of it, not even her name which is why she goes by Jet these days. It is also why she is so demure so much of the time, the beginning years weren't the easiest on her and it's her defense mechanism. Overall though, Jet is a fairly laid back sort of person. She has grown as a person though and is more kick ass than she used to be thanks to Tank Girl and everything that they've gone through. Being broken out of W&P by Tank Girl and participating in the events that followed gave her a level of self confidence that she hadn't had in many years much to her delight (though she was still cautious a lot of the time). Despite sometimes being called boring when it comes to her personality, Jet is a loyal friend, highly intelligent and someone who is good to have on your side when things go bad. She's sensible and level headed not easily being prone to panic but at the same time she can kick some serious ass when need be. Plus once you're her friend or if she believes she owes you a debt she will be completely loyal to you. Jet is also a whiz at anything mechanical and has been known to spruce up Jet's which is how she got the name Jet Girl to begin with. In fact she just enjoys fixing things just because she can - and sometimes because they do need to be, especially when she was being held prisoner at W&P. History: Until the drought of 2022, Jet Girl had a normal life - family, friends, attended school and all of that. The problem? She doesn't remember any of that, not even here name. After the drought started, Jet Girl was trying to break into the Water & Power Corporation to try and find a way to obtain access to the remaining water on the planet which they had complete control over when she was captured. Over the years she became quieter and quieter finding it the best way to survive as their prisoner. After eleven years of being their prisoner, of trying to put off advances of W&P employees who were interested in her and actually getting a fair amount of freedom she had become a nameless nobody. That was until she met Rebecca who would later be christened Tank Girl. Rebecca, at the time is a fellow prisoner after W&P lead by, Kesslee attacked the house where she and her friends were living with an illegal water well in the basement. During the time there the two of them slowly become friends. Kesslee and some other W&P employees take Rebecca and Jet (though she isn't known by this yet) into the desert to find where the Rippers are, something that W&P deny the existence of though rumours continue to abound by them. Before anything can happen though the Ripper's attack leaving Kesslee injured among others. Rebecca and Jet steal a Tank and a Jet respectively which is where they become known as Tank Girl and Jet Girl as to rescue Sam, who was also taken prisoner when Rebecca was - Sam being Rebecca's boyfriends, daughter. Arriving at the city of Liquid Silver they find Sam and are about to escape when The Madame, the owner of the club arrives leaving Tank and Jet to take her hostage forcing her to sing Let's Do It, Let's Fall in Love for the Club which becomes a sing a long. Unfortunately Water & Power arrive cutting it short and taking Sam hostage again. Deciding the best shot will be to get the Ripper's to help them, Jet and Tank wonder around the desert until they find the entrance to where the Ripper's live which turns out to be a buried bowling alley and that isn't the only surprise they have. The Ripper's turn out to be genetically enhanced super-soldiers who were infused with kangaroo DNA, created by a scientist named Johnny Prophet during the war. Prophet was supposed to destroy them once the war was over (which was the war that left W&P in charge of the water) but he decided not too. Jet and Tank have two of the Ripper's fall for them and are offered a place in their society to help bring down W&P as they believe everyone should have water, after they complete a task for them. The two girls head to a W&P loading dock where they make the workers think that they're photographers for a W&P calendar. Instead they are trying to figure out what the cargo is, which turns out to be guns that they need to get back to the Ripper's hide out. Except once back at the hide out it turns out not to be the case, the crates contain mostly dirt but one of them holds the corpse of Johnny Prophet which lead the Rippers to be devastated that their hero was dead. Angered by his death the Ripper's agree to help Tank and Jet rescue Sam and bring down W&P. Attacking W&P in separate groups, though they regroup for a shootout where unfortunately one of the Ripper's is killed. From there Jet goes after Sgt. Small who used to sexually harass her when she was their prisoner. They manage to rescue Sam and get Water to the remaining people of the world, accomplishing both the goals of their mission. Special abilities: Agility, great with gadgets, able to fly planes/jets, skilled in unarmed combat as well as various types of weapons. Third-person sample: "What the fuck?!" Jet cursed looking around her though she slowly backed away from the people in the gloves. Not that long ago she wouldn't have sworn like that but what she and Rebecca had gone through just previously had changed her in ways she hadn't imagined. Of course she still couldn't really remember her life before becoming a prisoner of Water and Power so she couldn't say she wasn't returning to how she was like before the comet hit the Earth, resulting in the war and the control of the water by W&P. She didn't like this situation though - she, Booga, Rebecca and some of the other Ripper's were going to go water skiing. Plus this place reminded her too much of W&P Headquarters in a lot of ways and she didn't like that. They were obviously sciences and after everything... Well she didn't like that. She quickly glanced around looking for a quick escape and didn't see one. That left one option - attack. Taking a deep breathe she assessed the situation it was one against ten and she was well outnumbered but she would try even if she probably would fail - it was worth a shot. With a sudden movement she swung her leg out and around, getting one of the scientists behind the knees bringing them to the ground. Unfortunately that was all she managed before she was knocked unconscious by the soldiers.
