NAME: Amelia Susan Bones - Bones, Amy, Li & Lia are acceptable. The latter two by family/very close friends AGE/BIRTHDAY: 39 | Jan 27 1943 LOCATION: Two bedroom terrance house in Burnley, England BLOOD STATUS: Pureblood though only just because the Bones family have no problem with marrying anyone no matter their Blood status APPEARANCE: Use this to note how they dress and look generally as well as distinguishing marks.Amelia Bones, though on the shorter side standing at 5'4, has a sense of authority about her and that is something she works hard to maintain. Always dressing professionally whenever she might encounter someone outside of her home which is the only place she will allow herself to be 'casual' Amelia knows exactly how to look the part of a professional Pureblood. One of the many reasons she puts such emphasis on her clothing is that as a woman she wouldn't be given any notice so she does anything she can to get the recognition that she feels (and does) deserve. Besides her neat and professional dress, Amelia rarely wears her brown hair, which falls to just below her shoulders out preferring to keep it out of her face either in a bun or ponytail. She's never been one for adornments though she will wear a watch wherever she goes.

ALLEGIANCE: Ministry PUBLIC IDENTITY: Amelia is very public about her support in the Ministry. She is less public in that while she agrees with the Order she thinks that they should leave it to the Ministry because it would make things easier. Having to worry about the Order on top of the Death Eaters isn't good though she does agree they have done some good. POLITICAL VIEWS: Amelia was raised with the view that everyone is equal no matter what. She doesn't support the Death Eaters in the slightest. She's not big on the Muggle world but can move about it, even if somewhat awkwardly. She's a bit wary of magical creatures such as Werewolves though she's not scared of them outside of the full moon. They're people but people like Fenrir scare the hell out of her.

PERSONALITY: Amelia grew up in a household that pushed herself to be the absolute best and she continually competed against her brothers to be the absolute best that she could be. She was hard working, intelligent and determined but most of all she wanted everyone to receive the justice that they deserved. From a young age, Amelia had a firm sense of duty as well as what is right and wrong, something that she still has to this day. She also had no problem stating her beliefs to others and forcing them onto people she thought she was mistaken. She got in trouble quite a lot with this when she first started at Hogwarts, especially combined with her temper which she would lose whenever she perceived an injustice had occurred. As she's grown up, she's learned to moderate it though when pushed she will still lose it. Amelia has always worked hard to achieve what she wants and believes that people who slack should go nowhere despite their blood history. Of course that isn't the case and it disgusts her to see people riding on the coattails of their families power and wealth. To her, half if not more of them don't deserve the positions that they currently hold. Amelia has a strong sense of loyalty to those who she believes should have it. First and foremost is her family, then her friends and then finally the Ministry. Of course, her need for justice outweighs everything else though she would have serious concerns in turning over a friend or family, she would if she believed it was truly the only option. She has a bad habit of feeling guilty over things she thinks were her fault and have no control. The biggest one is her sisters death, constantly questioning what she could have done differently to save her. Between this and her job she regularly sees a Mind Healer to ensure that it doesn't get too much for her. While she's improved over the years she is no where near to the point of not blaming herself for things. SKILLS & WEAKNESSES: STRENGTHS excellent dueller, sharp mind & wit, fair, dedicated, ambitious and firm in her beliefs and values WEAKNESSES has a fierce temper though she's much better at controlling it these days, stubborn, believes that rules and laws are there for a reason and shouldn't be broken except in the direst of circumstances, obsessive about her work, isn't good at showing emotions and was never very good at Astronomy or Herbology BOTH hard worker to the point of obsessive, loyal but still bound by her morals and ethics, sarcastic especially when annoyed and isn't afraid to tell you exactly what she thinks

HISTORY: Amelia Susan Bones was born January 27 1943 to Benjamin and Michelle, Bones as their eldest child of their four children. She was joined over the next eight years by her three siblings who despite the age gap, was quite close to even as children. The Bones were an old family, with ideals of equality that they passed down onto their children as best as they could. Amelia, from a young age was a force to be reckoned with. She wanted everyone to know that she didn't like the world as it was, she wanted to do what she wanted not what society dictated that she would do. Her parents eventually convinced enough people that it was just a phase and by her second year at Hogwarts she had (mostly) learned how to keep quiet. That didn't mean she stopped believing it though, if anything she became more determined to succeed. Before Hogwarts, she immersed herself reading as many books about the world as she could, especially History books and asking why things were. Staring Hogwarts, she knew she'd either be a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff and it was the latter that the sorting hat decided to place her in. There she quickly became the leader of the girls in her dorm and even some of the older ones. She quickly made enemies as well, informing anyone that she thought was either a) bullying someone b) being rude c) being an idiot, exactly what she thought of them which more than often included the use of her wand and various hexes and jinxes that she had learned both before Hogwarts and while at school. By the time the end of her first year had come around she had spent an average of three months in detention for her behaviour over the course of the year. During that summer, she had a long talk with her parents about her behaviour so by the time she started her second year she had backed down slightly from being so ferocious. Her parents told her that it wasn't acceptable and that they were disappointed in her for getting into trouble. While they understood why she did it violence wasn't the way to go. Her parents were people she looked up to a lot and after many days of reflection she realised that they were right. That year, the students were still cautious of her and warned the new students about her which made some of the fear her and her temper but all in all it was calmer. In fact, by the time she was a fifth year, she had calmed down enough and become someone that the younger years respected and looked up too that she was made a prefect and later, Head Girl much to her surprise. Still, she took her responsibilities seriously and didn't let anyone get away with misbehaving or breaking any of the school rules. Given how she used to be, she and her best friend sometimes had a good chuckle about this though. She'd learned to respect the rules over the years and realised just exactly why they were in place. Catherine as her only sister and the sibling closest to her in age was her best friend while growing up. Catherine had always been a bit of a daredevil, loving the thrill of adventure. The two of them had been spending an afternoon in Diagon Alley when Catherine, just recently turned 14, decided she wanted to explore Knockturn Alley just because it was forbidden. Amelia tried to talk her out of it but Cath didn't listen. Catherine never came back. After an hour had passed, Amelia ran to an adult - Tom at the Leaky Cauldron who called the Law Enforcement Patrol who went looking for her. They returned with Catherine's body. She had stumbled upon a deal of somesort that had gone wrong and was killed by a stray curse. While logically, Amelia knows she isn't to blame she wishes to this day that she had convinced her sister not to go down there, that she'd done something to stop her from doing what she did. She still blames herself for her death to this day. After Hogwarts, she applied and was accepted into the Aurors with dreams of one day leading the department before moving up to become the Minister. Amelia blitzed through the training and came out easily at the top of her class. Her trainers all said she had a lot of potential and she knew that was the case. By the time she graduated to a full Auror, she had already made quite a name for herself. She was known for her fairness, sense of justice and equality for everyone as well as her excellent reflexes in a duel. In 1978, she was promoted to Senior Auror after the death of Auror Catchbottom due to injuries received in the attack on the Leaky Cauldron. The war is geting to her though the birth of her niece Susan was a bright spot in her life as is her relationship with ____ though he's continually terrified of something happening to him.
