John Cho	PERSONALITY Jackson Roslin suffers a lot from only child syndrome, though it is no where near as bad as it used to be when he was a child. He was spoiled a lot when he was younger, both by his parents and grandparents as it had been assumed that his parents couldn't have any children. This and the fact he wasn't often told no in her formative years, led him to believe he could have just about anything he wanted. Of course by the time he started school he realised this wasn't the case and he worked hard to change his behaviour though it took him well into his teen years to truly change and even then he still slips up on occasion. There is no denying that Jackson is highly intelligent. From a young age he had a habit of reading anything that he got his hands on and seemed to just soak up knowledge, of course he was also incredibly hard working too which helped him achieve the results he did in his SATS. While he was always above average and even skipped a grade, his natural talents lay with maths and computer science. Jack is stubborn, he hates failure and he hates giving up at things. He has been known to pull 24 hour work shifts jut to ensure that he got something done. He has even worked himself until he collapsed and fell sick - more than once for that matter but he doesn't really change his behaviour when it comes to his work. Much to his parents annoyance, Jack has learned to swear when he is annoyed. They tried to get him to stop but unfortunately it has been a habit he can't break - even though he has tried to over the years. These days it isn't as bad as it was - usually a goddamn it or a crap unless he is extremely annoyed and the swearing will get worse. Jackson has the ability and habit of fading into the background and avoiding notice by other people. He is the sort of person to silently work away, listen to conversations and only speak when absolutely necessary. Despite this, Jackson is a friendly person he's just not the type to go out and party or have a lot of friends. He much prefers to have a few close friends than a lot of friends who he isn't as close too. While Jackson can hold a grudge against people who hurt him or betray him in anyway, when he makes a mistake he will go out of his way to fix it from constantly apologising to the person and then trying to fix whatever it is that he did wrong. He can be a touch extreme in this regard at times but he believes it is better than haing people upset with him. ✵
	ABILITIES&SKILLS ♣ Highly skilled at Computers ♣ Black belt in Taekwondo ♣ Is fluent in Korean and English ♣ Speaks basic Spanish and Cantonese. ♣ Can cook nearly all Korean foods by heart ✵ HISTORY Jackson is the second oldest child in a third generation Korean-American family and while his name is very much American, he still has a lot of ties from learning to speak the language along side of English and growing up eating Korean food at home, his mother Cornelia Byan (maiden named), teaching him all that she could about her grandmother's culture. Despite the fact that he was half American, his Korean heritage is strong in his appearance though he doesn't mind. The Roslin family, was close to one another growing up though their parents put a lot of pressure on them to succeed at school so in someways it is good that Jackson is naturally a clever and hard working person though he does have the ability to overwork. While he still has kept a lot of his Korean heritage in his learning, he is also highly Americanised. He picked up swearing from his school friends much to his parents annoyance and he's a big fan of burgers and pizza as well as other greasy take out foods. When he was in Elementary shcool, his parents enrolled him in Taekwondo lessons as a form of excercise to counteract all the 'horrible American food' that he was eating but also to connect him further with his heritage. At school, Jackson did really well at his subjects scoring near perfect marks in all of them but his favourite subjects were maths and Information Technology, which he decided in the first week that he would go on and make his career - something he did just that. After graduating from High School, Jackson was accepted into UCLA, moving interstate to study IT. It was here that he met Caroline Pucey and the two of them began a whirlwind romance with her falling pregnant not that long afterwards, though she swore she was on contraceptives. Jack, doing the right thing proposed to her and the two of them were married the following week. He managed to keep it a secret from his family, knowing how disappointed they would be in him for awhile but like all secrets this big it eventually came out. To say his parents were furious would have been an understatement. Like all things like that, it didn't last. The two of them seperated when their daughter Amelia was five, he getting her one weekend a month and a week during summer though he did visit a lot more - he and her mother tried to stay on good terms for Amelia. It wasn't to be though and three years later Caroline was killed in a road accident and Amelia was in a coma for three months. Since then, Jack raised her by himself which was a learning experience but he has managed and now Amelia is 21, at college herself and is moving on with her life. During that time, he achieved his dream of creating his own IT company which is doing well and all in all he couldn't be happier with his life. ✵
