The Basics

Brief Appearance: She looks like her PB, perhaps a bit greyer. Personality Personality: In a lot of ways, Deanna's personality has been shaped by her Betazoid abilities though they aren't as strong as they would be if she was a full Betazoid. She is on the quieter side when it comes to her personality and much prefers to watch, listen and observe people. This way she can use her ability to read emotions to the best of her ability, getting a good feel for people and the situation that she is in. Especially picking up subtext in situations that someone might otherwise miss. As well as being so quiet and reserved, Deanna is loyal and friendly to those that she trusts. She gets along well and once you have her friendship it is very hard to loose. Perhaps it is due to her half Betazoid nature but she is good at calming people down and putting them at ease in situations where they might not be otherwise as well as inspiring trust in those who talk to and encounter her. While most of the time she is incredibly polite, she has a strong sense of humour and often enjoys teasing her friends especially those that she considers to be family - Will, Beverly, Jean-Luc etc. She is also very firm in her believes and is quite good at making her point in a quite logical way when 'discussing situations' with other people. Though she rarely gets angry on the rare occasion she is, she someone you don't want to cross paths with her. While on Betazoid, she met William Riker for the first time and the two of them began a romantic relationship, the two of them eventually drifted a part when he put their relationship first. The two of them eventually reconnected aboard the Enterprise where he was the XO and she the ship counsellor. After a rocky relationship, they ended up becoming engaged much to the delight of their friends. 2. In early 2365, Deanna fell pregnant due to an alien wishing to experience human emotions and relationships. Due to this he grew at an accelerated rate, but unfortunately caused a plasmic plague to strike the ship. Realising that he was the cause of this the boy, who Deanna had named Ian, gave up his human life to save the ship and everyone on board. 3. Deanna, while she knows it probably won't happen, has planned her wedding to the smallest detail. The life they lead might mean it won't happen exaclty how she wants it to go but she dreams of what she wants. She's realistc though. Despite that Deanna likes to think that her life is exactly where she wants it to be. When she was younger she never dreamed it would be the way it is but now she would never change it.
