Arden is a lot more introvert than extrovert but given both of his parents were much the same, perhaps it comes as no surprise he is too. From a young age, he was encouraged to read whatever he could as it would lead him to be a successful adult. Given how young he was, when he was first told this, Arden translated it into the more successful he was the prouder his parents would be, which has become the driving force behind everything that he does these days. Arden, has inherited his parents stubbornness and combined with his ambition and desire to please his parents, he absolutely hates given up at something before he has completed it to the best of his ability, even going as far as pushing himself above and beyond what is expected of him. This can make him come off as a bit of a know it all at times, but as he doesn't go out of his way to answer every single question in class most people seem to over look it. Despite his love of books, Arden is rather friendly even if he is not the type of person to talk to just anyone. He has no hesitancy in talking to people from other houses or befriending them for that matter. It just might take him awhile to actually talk to them enough for that to happen. Most surprisingly about Arden is that he loves being out doors in one way or another. For awhile he attempted to garden but soon discovered he had a red thumb and instead just started to spend as much as his free time out in the garden reading, or in summer swimming in the family pool. He found the fresh air relaxing and invigorating, much more than being stuck in doors all the time. He loves to travel. Given his father's role as the Ambassador the to ICW, Arden spent a lot of his childhood traveling and always enjoys seeing new sites, learning about new cultures and their histories as well as different types of magic such as Maori etc. Arden, is quite secretive and has a lot of trouble opening up to people, his sister Lila being the only one that he tells everything, or close to everything too as some things a sister just shouldn't know. Most of all though, Arden just wants to succeed in life and enjoy himself while he is at it. History Arden Zabini is the oldest of the two children born to Tracey and Blaise Zabini with his sister Lila being born a year after him. Growing up, he had a good childhood though he and his family spent a lot of time traveling due to his father's work as first an Assistant to the Ambassador for the ICW and then as the actual ambassador when the previous one retired. He and Lila, only had each other a lot of the time while traveling, though while they were in England they got to know some other children. This lead the two of them becoming quite close and Arden considers her his best friend as well as his sister. From a young age, he could often be found with his head in a book learning all that he could in an effort of doing two things - passing time when there was nothing else to do and learning as much as he could in the hopes of pleasing his parents. When he turned eleven, he boarded the train from Hogwarts even if he didn't want to leave Lila behind for the year. It came as no surprise that he was sorted into Slytherin and he quickly settled into life at school. Even though he was on the quieter side and spent a lot of his time studying, he made a couple of good friends. While Lila started in his second year, he took it upon himself to make sure she settled in well and everyone was treating her okay. Now in his sixth year, he is looking toward the future and trying to decide what he wants to do with his life. Sample Pieces First Person Journal Entry So, I have been researching careers and I have come to the conclusion that I have no idea what I want to do once I graduate at the end of next year. Of course the obvious answer would be to go work in the Ministry but I don't know if that is what I truly what I desire to do with my life. Of course I could start there until I decide what I want to do but then the question is, which department would I work in? It is all so complicated. I myself though am glad life has returned to normal after the mishap over the weekend. I did manage to find other things to do with my time but it is excellent to be able to attend classes again.
