LONG ANSWERS
Appearance: Danielle has a sense of authority about her and that is something she works hard to maintain. Always dressing professionally whenever it has something to do with work. After hours she usually puts on the comfiest, oldest pair of tracksuit pants that she has and a baggy jumper though she does own a collection of jeans, skirts and dresses to be worn casually they're often in brighter colours or white as she finds it complimentary to her tones. Danielle rarely wears her brown hair, which falls to just below her shoulders out preferring to keep it out of her face either in a bun or ponytail. She's never been one for adornments though she will wear a watch wherever she goes.
Likes & Dislikes:
Like - efficiency, hard working, comfy clothes, novels, spending time with her daughter, ice cream, chocolate chips, long walks, running, rock music, dancing, helping others, knowing what is happening
Dislike - her ex husband, slackers, people argue for the sake of it, people who suck up to people in power, animals, people who abuse power, rain, cold weather, unnecessary violence, people thinking she is useless, pop and tiny tot music, surprises
Personality: As the youngest child and only girl, you might have expected Danielle to have been coddled but her parents weren't the type to do that sort of thing. Danielle instead, grew up in a household that pushed herself to be the absolute best and she continually competed against her brothers to be the absolute best that she could be. By the time she was ten, she knew exactly what she wanted to do. One of her classmates ended up in the foster system because her parents were unsuitable. Unfortunately the parents cleaned up, she went back and the situation repeated itself time after time until her friend was finally an adult. She knew then that she wanted to go into the Child Protection Services (or police) as she needed to ensure that she did her best to ensure that no one else ended up in the same situation as that.
From a young age, Danielle had a firm sense of duty as well as what is right and wrong, something that she still has to this day. She also had no problem stating her beliefs to others and forcing them onto people she thought she was mistaken. She got in trouble quite a lot with this when she first started at school, especially combined with her temper which she would lose whenever she perceived an injustice had occurred. As she's grown up, she's learned to moderate it though when pushed she will still lose it.
Danielle has always worked hard to achieve what she wants and believes that people who slack should go nowhere despite their blood history. Of course that isn't the case and it disgusts her to see people riding on the coattails of their families power and wealth. To her, half if not more of them don't deserve the positions that they deserve. Thankfully, it isn't as bad as it used to be though.
Danielle has a strong sense of loyalty to those who she believes should have it. First and foremost is her family, then her friends her co-workers and the children that she is helping. Of course, her need for justice outweighs everything else though she would have serious concerns in turning over a friend or family, she would if she believed it was truly the only option. Though she has no qualms in killing to protect them. Unfortunately, because she is so dedicated to this sense of justice, she spends a lot of extra overtime working and it has pushed a number of people, including her ex-husband, away from her.
Relationships:
Background: Danielle was the third child born to her parents Donald and Sharon, also unplanned unlike her two brothers. That didn't mean she wasn't wanted though or loved, far from it in fact. She was doted on, especially by her grandparents though she wasn't spoiled all that much. At least to an extent. She wasn't overly spoiled to the point it was detrimental too her, it was more that her grandparents loved her (and her brother) a great deal.
She spent her childhood having fun with her friends and family. She enjoyed playing games and always loved being in charge or the leader of whatever situation that she was in. This isnt' something that has changed throughout her life. She had a couple of true friends but for the most part, people followed her because she had the power to do what she wanted and people liked having the power on their side. All in all she was fairly happy with her life though.
That was until she started high school though
