Appearance: He is reasonably tall coming in at a good 6' 2" and is slim, boarding on the edge of skinny. His hair is a pale blond, almost white and is quite short though the front is slightly longer, sometimes falling in his eyes. His eyes are a grey colour and have often been described as cold looking which suits his whole personality. His clothes are the latest fashion and always look immaculate as he has to have and look the best of the best as that is what he is.

Personality: Lucius is considered to be a cold and aloof by many people, as he acts as a stereotypical, snobbish pureblood while in public. While around people he likes and trusts, he is a lot more relaxed even though he still upholds the standards he was raised with. He looks down on people who are of lower status than him or muggle-lovers and only accepts other purebloods of high standing in his social circles - when he has the choice of course. He isn't close to his parents or his extended family, as that simply how he believes is the proper way to behave. He doesn't many have friends but does have many acquaintances. He does consider the elder of the Lestrange brothers to be a friend, along with a few other Slytherin wizards from his year. While he loves his family, no one outside them knows this because he believes it to be a weakness and because he is afraid of his rivals using it against him. He can be angered quickly, especially when he doesn't get his way, but he has learned to control it enough that people who do not know him well do not realise he is angry- the majority of time.

Lucius does not like hearing other people's points of view, especially when he knows that they can argue their point and make him look like a fool. He has always believed in blood superiority and always will- one does not change their way of think so easily. This prejudice goes hand in hand with his vanity. He takes pride in the way he looks and will never go anywhere without looking the best that he can- every hair in place, his robes the latest fashions and perfectly in place without a single crease in them. He refuses to look anything but the best of the best and isn't afraid to spend the money to show this.

Lucius is also driven by his ambitions to succeed and become the best that he can be. This mainly relates to things to do with purebloods- he wants to show that purebloods are the best, he wants to help win the war, he wants his family to be safe, he wants to be a trusted confident of the minister of magic. He wants to show people that he is better than them. His marriage to Narcissa original began as a way to show that he was a worthy Pureblood to marry into the House of Black, one of the most notable Pureblood families. Along with this is his ability to lie convincingly that helps him be able to get people to what he wants them to do. If he doesn't like something, he can make out that he loves it, he can make out that his beliefs are one thing when they aren't. Though a lot of people believe that they know him, they actually don't.

Not one to talk unless he absolutely has to, Lucius places a lot of value on the words said. A lot of people can consider him rather shy on occasion- if they didnt' know him that is. He has learned not to say much as it can be often misinterpreted and used against him, which he fears a lot especially after the end of the war. He has never been one for loud gatherings or inane chatter, finding that they give him a headache quite easily which will often turn into a migraine. This means that when he is at home and not spending a quite evening with his family he is often in his study either working or reading.

When Lucius is annoyed you will find that he can anger quickly and can become determined to hurt the other person. He is often thought of as a cruel person, especially given his love for the Dark Arts. When angered he won't hesitate to curse, belittle or torture someone depending on the situation, and if he can get away with it. He will also attempt manipulate them emotionally and mentally into changing their minds and going along with what he wants. This can result in him being cruel and sharp to his family and friends if they aren't living up to his expectations. He wants his family to succeed, and will do anything to help them do so.

Despite this, Lucius is all about keeping a good image for him and his family, which is what lead him to register as a Wizard despite not agreeing with the laws or liking Muggles at all. As an active Death Eater he has been trying to bring in information that people might not have access to if they remained incognito. Much of this also stems from his love of fooling people and making them think that something is true when it isn't but when it comes down to it, he wants his family to be safe and he knows that by registering they will be safe.
