He is incredibly protective of those that he cares about though he often down plays the roll he plays in them. At first, he was rather scared and cowed by the chaos and events that he was involved in after meeting the Doctor, though he did have the ability to remain calm enough to take evidence of what was happening - he knew it wasn't normal and he didn't like that. As time passed though he started to grow in confidence as well as bravery and came to accept the chaos that he encountered over the years. Rory, also has a lot of empathy and compassion and is more than willing to help others in need. He will even do this even if it isn't sensible and will put him in danger. This is both as his job as a nurse or even just traveling with the Doctor and his companions on their adventures. One of his biggest flaws though, is that due to the events that led him to die or nearly die multiple times while traveling with the Doctor he often believes that he can face and defeat death, that it won't effect him until the absolute end. Unfortunately this isn't the case. Rory is completely and absolutely devoted to Amy and will do anything for her to the point that the Doctor jokingly calls him Mr Pond as he defers to Amy so much. His devotion is so strong that he stood guard over her as a toy centurion for 2,000 years saving her from fires and other natural disasters until they ended up in the museum in London where they would eventually be reconnected with the Doctor. Due to this devotion to her, he was rather jealous of her obsession with the Doctor but after awhile he came to accept it and started to consider him a friend and came to trust him with his life. Rory, is actually rather clever and is a quick learner when it comes to many things. This helped him with his nursing career but also came in handy during his adventures on the TARDIS. SPECIAL ABILITIES → Is an excellent nurse and carries nursing supplies in his pocket all of the time → He is a highly skilled warrior, especially with the sword and is also able to use a gun → He's also skilled in hand to hand combat, able to pack a punch (he knocked down the Doctor, Hitler and the Teselecta with a single punch to the jaw) CANON PUNCTURE Sure he'll just shrug it off, he travels with the Doctor after all!
