Character Information Name: Michael "Mike" Peterson Age: 34 (b. Aug 28 1979) Occupation (include organization affiliation, if any): Freelancer, loyal to himself first and foremost. Partly loyal to Coulson's team Special abilities, if any: Enhanced Strength & Speed due to the Centipede project and limited invulnerability. PB: J August Richards Appearance: Mike stands at 6'3 and weights 190 pounds. He used to be quite good looking but unfortunately due to an accident at the factory where he worked he has burns covering half of his face. After he was recaptured by Centipede after betraying them, they turned him into a half cyborg-man known as Deathlock. His right leg has been replaced by a prosthetic as well as a cybernetic ocular implant and centipede that exists in his left arm. Personality: Mike Peterson, first and foremost is a good person and a good father who has unfortunately been thrust into some unfortunate situations over the past year. Deep down he is a loving person who wants the best for his son, even now after everything he wishes for that. Since everything that has happened though, Mike's personality, while e is still essentially a good person he is also riddled by guilt by everything that has happened. He hates the person whom he has become and is determined to take action to redeem himself for all the wrong doing that he did while serving the Clairvoyant. Despite being so loyal, Mike can be quick to anger especially at the people who have hurt him and his family. It is one reason he ended up betraying the Clairvoyant though, that was partly due to the fact that Skye took over as the person issuing his commands. Thankfully, they came to the conclusion that he could go about and do his own thing and she wouldn't control/watch him via the device. Family & Friends: History: Mike Peterson was a normal boy who lived in a normal family in a normal neighbourhood. In fact there was nothing all that spectacular about his life until the accident at the factory where he worked at, that is a part from his wife's death that left him as a single father, to Ace Peterson. After the accident, he was made into a centipede and started to become a superhero going by the name 'hooded hero' until he crossed paths with SHIELD. The next few months was particularly hard for him, especially when he betrayed SHIELD, turning over Coulson to Raina, after Centipede abducted his son. In the upcoming battle he was nearly killed, to the point that SHIELD believed him to be dead. It was from there that he started to work for the Centipede due to their ways of controlling him. By then, he started to fully become Deathlock and not Mike Peterson and was only 'following orders' with his following actions. Thankfully, in the end he became Mike Peterson again and helped Skye and Coulson destroy Garret Now, he is determined to make up for everything he did under Garrett's control though he isn't actually sure how to do so besides tracking down HYDRA agents and destroying them.
